Why I made it
i'm a big basketball guy myself, and i remember loving the feeling of NBA Jam; i wanted something a bit different, and i arrived on blacktop.
World tour
hometown · paris · tokyo · rucker park
starts on your block. local brackets first, then the city championship, then paris, tokyo and a packed invitational at rucker park. win it all and your old court gets rebuilt.
NextAbove the rim
dunks, posters, alley-oops to blue
dunks change with how you attack the rim. hang on it, throw it down on somebody, or toss it up for your teammates.
NextCelebrations
the hotter you get, the bigger they get
big plays build your heat. get hot enough and the celebrations come out. a backflip, a meteor shower, or a ufo that comes down and takes you. yes, i know it's absolutely absurd. but it's fun, and that's what matters.
